One Pohorje. A hundred trails.
One shoot day.
For the Visit Pohorje brand, we delivered a full video production day: from the creative concept and scripts timed to the second to on-location filming and post-production. The result: a cinematic hero video for the destination, four reels each with its own story, and 40 photos of Pohorje in summer.

A destination lives on images. Nobody heads to the mountains because of a bullet point; they go because they saw footage somewhere that made them think: I’m going there. In winter, Pohorje tells that story on its own, but in summer it has to be shown: bike tours along the ridges, mountain trike descents, the PohorjeJet, hiking trails to Lake Areh and views that make the summit worth it even without snow.
One decision up front was key: no generic tourism-promo tone. We framed summer on Pohorje in a cinematic, documentary-style narrative, as the story of a group of friends on an outing, not as a catalog of offerings. Each video got its own emotional purpose and its own short story arc.
Creative concept.
Thinking comes before the camera: what should the viewer feel, and what should they do? We designed the campaign’s visual language down to the last detail: recurring characters viewers recognize from video to video (with a dog as the connecting thread), a color palette of warm earth tones, even wardrobe and props. That’s why every format feels like one story, not a collection of clips.
Content concept and scripts.
We scripted every piece in advance, timed to the second, shot by shot. The hero video “One mountain range. A hundred trails.” builds an emotional arc from morning mist to the summit view, while the four reels each tell their own story with their own hook: “Ever tried it?” for the mountain trikes, “Pohorje on two wheels.” for the bike tour, “3 in 1: Pohorje Tris” and “This is where the calm begins.” for hiking. The photos were planned by category, for web, social posts, ads and print.
Shoot day.
We condensed the on-location work into a single production day: locations from Lake Areh and Skalca Waterfall to the gondola, mountain trikes and the PohorjeJet, with the schedule, gear and shots locked in advance. The crew spent their time on the mountain filming, not searching: from drone footage over the ridges to details only the camera catches.
Post-production.
In the edit, the footage got its rhythm and color: cuts to music, a warm cinematic color grade, graphics and captions, and exports in formats for every channel. The hero video for YouTube, the website and ads, including in foreign markets; reels for Instagram, TikTok and Stories; and 40 edited photos ready for everything in between.
Today, Visit Pohorje has a content bank for the entire summer season: a hero video for presentations and campaigns at home and abroad, four reels for months of posts and 40 photos for web, ads and print. One carefully executed production day instead of piecemeal orders: that’s the difference between footage and a story.
